The beach, lovely trees, and breathtaking sunset made this a beautiful place to stay. We felt safe, the service was good, and the pool was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, and we also enjoyed a fresh, well-prepared dinner. This was our second hotel in Zanzibar on our honeymoon. It may suit families more than honeymooners, but we had a lovely time here. A special thank you to Gifty, whose warm welcome made us feel comfortable right from the start. We really loved her.

The food was amazing, and the cocktails were beautifully presented. We went all inclusive and were impressed, with someone always around to help. The pools, restaurant, and views were fantastic, and the air conditioning in our great room was a blessing. It was a relaxing, beautiful holiday. The drive from the airport was quite long, but worth it for this little piece of paradise. I don't often return to places, but I'm reconsidering that after this stay.

The beach and two pools were highlights, and the grounds have lovely greenery in a quaint, warm layout. We had a pleasant stay, though for the price and the strong online reviews, I'd call it okay to good rather than exceptional. Some things around the property felt worn. The hotel sign seemed to be under repair when we arrived, and the reception wasn't especially inviting, even though a kind, professional receptionist greeted us with a drink. The seating and some other furnishings could use an upgrade. Our room was clean but fairly standard for the price. The shower handle had rust on it, the bed nets had holes, the curtains didn't hang right, and we had trouble with the AC remote. The sheets and towels also felt scratchy. Each issue was small, but together they point to a need for more consistent upkeep, especially in the bathrooms and sleeping areas. With better maintenance and thoughtful upgrades, the lovely setting could make for a much stronger stay and better match the price and expectations.

The rooms could do with a small refresh, but that's my only minor complaint. The whole team was amazing, from reception and the bar to housekeeping and everyone else around the property. They were helpful and made sure guests felt comfortable. It really has an African atmosphere, and this was the best vacation of my life. I honestly recommend it.

The rooms are very basic and not as nice as the hotel's exterior, and there is no room service. The internet didn't work properly, and the food and service were just okay. The location is great, though, with one of the best beaches in Nungwi. I saw the other options and they weren't nearly as good.
