The villa is nice and not too far from the beach, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I just wish there were a full-day menu. Still, the staff can always go and get you good local food.

This is a beautiful, quiet hotel with a nice pool, and it feels very relaxing. The owner is lovely and always smiling. Service was very nice, the restaurant food was good, and for breakfast they can make whatever you like. It's in the village, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Our room was OK. A few things were missing when we arrived, but they brought them as soon as we asked. It was noisy at night, and there was a lot of light early in the morning. The toilet flush had issues regularly, though the owner fixed them pretty quickly. On our last day he wasn't there, and the staff couldn't sort it out before we left. I'd still recommend the hotel.

We lost our room key on the beach, and they moved us to another room without charging extra. The included breakfast was great, with fruit and eggs made how you like them on toast. Good value, lovely staff, and I’d recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Utulivu. The whole Utulivu Crew was great, and Olga was easy to talk to and quick to help when needed. She even bought me medicine when I had diarrhoea 😊. The hotel feels up to Western standards. One small thing: some hand towels for the toilets would help, since the bathroom stayed damp after use. Still, I recommend it 🫶🏾
