The hotel is 50m from the ocean, and the girls working there were very friendly and hospitable. The hostess, though, was terrible and seemed to dislike people. I was bitten badly during the last few days of my stay. I didn’t see any mosquitoes, so I don’t know if they were mosquito bites or bed bugs, but they were itchy and irritating. Waking up covered in bites was extremely unpleasant. We’d agreed I could use the kitchen to prepare food for $35. One day I brought groceries and was told the kitchen was occupied because she was cooking for herself. She also said I had to pay extra for gas. She was rude, raised her voice, and told me to leave if I didn’t like her changing the rules. This happened in front of the service staff. I now understand why I was practically alone in the hotel for two weeks. I strongly advise against staying here.

We loved our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bungalows are close to most activities. For anything farther away, they can help arrange transport. We’ll definitely call again!

The morning of our stay, we got a message asking if they could pick us up from the airport. We thought that was thoughtful, but replied that we had our own vehicle and were on our way. When we arrived, we were told they’d overbooked and we had to find somewhere else to stay the day before New Year. Ridiculous. When we asked about the transport message, they said it wasn’t from them but from the manager, who apparently wasn’t there. Later that day, we got a message saying our room had burned down 😆, whatever. Please book somewhere reliable.

The rooms are okay, nothing special. Power cuts are very frequent here, though there’s nothing management can do about that. When the power went out, the water pump stopped too, so we couldn’t flush the toilet in the morning. Property manager Severini was great and did what he could to help us.

We had a lovely week in this bungalow. The atmosphere was so nice, the staff were polite, and the location was great. We’re already looking forward to coming back for another holiday!
