Karafuu Beach Resort & Spa Hotel

We had such a lovely week here and would happily come back. The staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We enjoyed the evening programs, and the surroundings were beautiful. The food was tasty with lots of variety, too. Everything left us very satisfied.

The room looked lovely and was tastefully decorated, and we enjoyed the ocean's poetic side when the tides came in and out. When the jetty got slippery one day, staff quickly spread sand over it to make it safer. The bartenders and waiters were especially helpful, always looking after guests with a smile. Still, the stay was let down by the room's condition and the reception response. Only one outlet in the whole room worked. We tried several adapters in the others, but none would fit. When we told reception, they seemed completely indifferent, and nobody tried to fix it. That was the biggest disappointment.

They treated me like family throughout my solo trip, and I was sorry to leave. My room was cleaned daily, turned down, and sprayed against mosquitoes. There was a wide choice of food, and staff made everything easy. The amenities were all great, especially the gym with its excellent equipment. I'll be back.

I'm waiting for my transfer back to the airport as I write this, and I'm so sad to leave. What made the place special was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming, always greeting you by name and saying something nice. Huge congratulations to the whole team, from the people cleaning the beach early each morning to the restaurant and bar staff. Every one of them is gold! The hotel itself was just perfect, too: a beautiful palm beach, a lovely cottage overlooking the sea, varied local food, and shows every night. The performances at the massai village inside the hotel were especially good.
