We enjoyed morning runs past the mango trees and the beautiful countryside. It’s a really relaxing setup, with secure parking and good facilities. The location works well for nearby beach adventures while still being in the cooler countryside. Dinner was very good and well priced, and breakfast was excellent too. We really enjoyed our stay at Joleen Safari Park.

I spent a week at Joleen Safari Park, a private and beautiful property in Kigamboni with easy access to Dar CBD. The grounds are spacious and nicely landscaped, with a play area that gives it a homely feel. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and good value. There’s a kitchen where you can tailor your meal orders. Kambarage is a particularly resourceful and helpful host.

Joleen Safari Park is a lovely new small hotel in a really quiet, relaxing area. I had a great time, ate well, got some good rest, and enjoyed a few nice surfing sessions at the nearby empty beaches.
