The cafe downstairs served delicious food, but the 10% service charge felt strange since they barely had any customers. Getting back up the stairs from the city is such a pain that it makes you not want to return to your room. The sauna is overpriced, and noise carries from nearby rooms even when someone is just walking. The staff are friendly, but I don’t like being fussed over, and I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

There’s no Wi-Fi, and the walls do nothing to block sound. Be ready to hear everything from drunken neighbors. The sauna is okay, and that’s about it. At the local restaurant, paying by card costs an extra 3.5% tax if you don’t have cash. If you order food delivery from the restaurant to your room, even though it’s only 10 meters away, they charge another 100 UAH. Not recommended.

The wooden walls are so thin that you hear everything from every direction, especially from the room above. Apart from that, it’s clean, nice, and cozy. A good option for a cheap stay.

The reception is only open until 8 pm, and it’s a long walk to downtown. The staff were unfriendly, especially the cleaners and the general manager, who doesn’t speak English. They were rude, and I saw how they spoke to their own staff. It was terrible, like being in a village during Soviet times. I don’t recommend this place.

There’s no shared space for groups, and the Wi-Fi is very, very bad. With the building made of wood, it gets too noisy when there are kids around.
