Alma Guest House

There was baby noise, and the room felt cold in the evenings.

We're staying here now, and it's been very comfortable. Everything is kept clean, and each room has its own shower, toilet, and sink, plus the furniture you need. It's also a fairly short distance from the center of Yaremche. Maya has been a lovely hostess and gave us such a warm welcome. I'm sure you'll be glad if you choose this hotel. Thank you, Maya.

We paid a small price for what felt like a four-story palace. The best part of "Alma" may be how spotless it is. The hostess is very pleasant, and the varnished wood gives the place a local feel without making the rooms look overdone. There are plenty of showers and toilets, plus a kitchen, balcony (?), gazebo with a barbecue stove, swings, flowers, and a friendly dog. The only thing I didn't like was the translucent toilet doors. You can't actually see who's in there, but it still leaves you feeling exposed and makes it hard to relax your "chakras" =). I still haven't found any eagle, which is a shame. It's close enough to the center to walk, and there are different routes to choose from. Very convenient, thanks a lot, Maya!

The hostess is easy to talk to, and she sorts out any problems quickly. It's a good budget place, and a big plus for us was that dogs are allowed. There's also a 24-hour convenience store close by. The rooms are cozy and clean, the shower has a hairdryer, and the water stays hot. Just be aware the ground-floor room can get chilly.
