From the quiet street, it was only about 10 minutes to the station, center, and cafes, so the location worked really well. We stayed for seven lovely days in the “family junior suite.” It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with the basics we needed. Our favorite part was the balcony overlooking the mountains and the Prut River. There’s a shared kitchen, plus a refrigerator and kettle near the room. And there are sweet cats and a dog around the property ;) Thanks for the hospitality!

The hosts were a real highlight. Mr. Anatoly is a pleasure to listen to, and they were welcoming and kind, offering ideas for places to visit, local attractions, jeep tours, and mountain rover rentals. A special treat for animal lovers, too: there are two lovely cats. We also had excellent Wi-Fi, enough to stream a movie online in 1080p without problems. Our family room had a mountain view and a small balcony. The huge bed and large sofa were comfortable, and the room had a wardrobe, TV with a console, bedside furniture, and everything needed in the bathroom. It was clean, cozy, and so well soundproofed that I didn't realize a family with children was staying there until several days in. The shared house spaces were inviting as well, with a large fireplace and kitchen downstairs, and armchairs, sofas, aquariums, a chess set, and a great library upstairs. The house and garden are beautifully kept, with lots of flowers, plants, and trees, two swings, a covered gazebo, and a brick barbecue. The wooden interiors and colors show the owners' good taste. The property sits beside two slopes leading down to the Prut River, and from our room we could admire Elephant Rock and the mountains. My wife and I spent a long time comparing places for our Yaremche vacation, but this Sadyba caught our eye in a photo, and we chose well. Wishing the hosts success, and a heartfelt thank you!

We could get to the train station and tourist sights quickly from this conveniently placed estate. Our balcony looked out at the “elephant” rock, which was a huge bonus. The room had a hairdryer, towels, TV, wardrobe, and two bedside tables, and the house felt especially warm and comfortable. The host was friendly and very welcoming. I liked it and recommend staying here!

The excursion arrangements were the biggest disappointment. We had agreed with the owner on a particular day and planned a rest day before a climb around it, meaning we didn't go anywhere that day. Then, because other guests were tired and couldn't go the next day, the excursion was moved without even telling us. We found out by chance late the evening before, and the rescheduled outing also never happened. The owner gave no explanation or notice of cancellation. It felt as if guests were treated selectively, and the lack of commitment left a very bad impression. The house also felt taken over by the host's friends while they were staying there. They occupied the living room, gazebo, and veranda, with coats drying in the gazebo so nobody could sit there. In the kitchen their groceries covered the table, and five pots of food were cooking or stored at once, leaving us little room to cook. We and the other guests transferred food to our own containers to save dishes, and even reaching the stove was difficult. Making breakfast or dinner was a hassle if you didn't get there in time. There were good points too. The room was huge, comfortable, and in excellent condition, and the balcony and shared balcony had beautiful views. The river is a two-minute walk across a meadow, and you can swim there. The location is close to the center but tucked away from the busy parts. Wi-Fi was decent, though it could be improved. We got an extra blanket when we asked, and having a refrigerator upstairs as well as in the kitchen was handy. The kitchen is usable for cooking, and although it doesn't have many utensils, the hosts will provide extra pots or other items if requested. The host also gave us detailed directions to waterfalls and other places. The frying pans were poor, and cleaning and linen changes only once every 16 nights is far too infrequent. I could have asked for cleaning, but that feels unreasonable to me, as it should happen at regular intervals. We kept our spotless room clean ourselves, so that didn't spoil the vacation.
