Yuri was a very pleasant host, and we’re completely happy with the stay. The apartment feels modern and thoughtfully designed. Everything is new, works properly, and is very clean. It’s equipped with all the basics and then some, from an iron and ironing board to slippers, toiletries, kitchen utensils, and even shoe polish. The quality of everything was high. We’d definitely recommend it.

Lukyanivska is an easy seven-minute walk away, which is a major plus. The complex itself seems nice, though the trams run so close to the windows that I’d expect them to be noisy. The distance from the tracks feels a bit strange to me.

We booked through Booking.com, then had to change our plans and cancelled a few days ahead. Booking.com said the cancellation was free, and the terms allowed cancellation up to 24 hours beforehand without a fee. Despite that, the accommodation charged us 50 percent of the price. Booking.com told us the charge was illegal and involved card fraud. An investigation is underway.
