Monotel Capsule Hotel

The location was probably the best part for me. There are six or more embassies within a five-minute walk, and the metro is about ten minutes away on foot. It felt very safe, which was a relief on my first day in the country. There's also a nearby ATM with Russian, Ukrainian, and English, so it was easy to use. For one night, this was perfect, though I'm not sure I'd stay long term. This was my first capsule hotel. I liked having a little more privacy than in a regular hostel, and there were lockers for my things plus a refrigerator for groceries. My room was called "Guardians of the Galaxy"; it wasn't really themed, but it was nice. The smart toilets were new to me. The hotel is on the building's third floor, so you may need to carry your bags up. The front desk woman said there was an elevator, but I never found it. I also couldn't work out how to get a hot shower, though that may have been user error, so take that with a grain of salt.

There’s a coworking hub right beside the rooms, which is handy. The service was incredible, and the capsules were comfortable enough to sleep in, with room to shift from one corner to another :D This option turned out better than we expected and is really interesting for anyone.

The place was very clean, had great air conditioning and comfortable furniture, and the location was fantastic. But one or two staff members gave off a really nasty vibe. I felt highly uncomfortable around one particular woman on staff, and there was something very off about her. She shouldn't be dealing with the public. I'd never come back, since there are much better places to stay in Kyiv.

I had to ask for one of the newer pods. They offer decent privacy, but the place was very hot, and even simple things like showering or using the toilet were a real hassle.
