Mini Hotel Leon

What a lovely town. It's simple, but has a nice atmosphere.

The zoo was the biggest plus for us. The whole place is great, especially the lemurs, and you can feed the animals from very close by. I recommend visiting it. The food we tried was delicious, though we didn't have time to properly explore it. The owner was friendly and helpful and offered us a room discount; the staff were pleasant, if a bit too familiar. The rooms didn't meet our expectations. Ours was large but felt cramped and uncomfortable, with tile floors, which I personally hate in a bedroom. The hotel is right by the road, and even with the windows closed, the traffic is very clear. This place works well if you're tired from travelling and just outside the city, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

After spotting one cockroach by the window, I searched the room and found another. That made three in all. Earlier, I’d heard them moving around after I switched off the light, then turned it back on and saw one. I fell asleep not long afterward.

The zoo was a fun stop, even though it’s small. We stayed two nights, and the room was pretty basic, but fair for the price. What really pleased us was the food: everything was genuinely tasty and the service was good. We left very happy.
