We got a luxury apartment, but it felt flimsy for what it cost, almost as much as a castle. The jacuzzi was broken, the shower was awful, and there were no plates or coffee cups. The room hadn’t been cleaned, with a mess under the bed. There’s no separate entrance, so you have to walk about 200 meters across the hotel to reach the only entrance, going up two floors, along a long corridor, then down three floors. That’s really hard with small children and things to carry.

We stayed in a suite at the end of January as a gift for Tatyana’s Day. The hotel was clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly without being intrusive. Breakfast is buffet style, and lunch and dinner are available at the Carpathian Mountains for an extra 120 UAH per person, also buffet style. We’d asked when booking if it would be easy to get meals, and it was. Breakfast was filling and had something for everyone. We had lunch at the Carpathian Mountains and liked the variety and selection there too. The ground-floor restaurant also had delicious food at reasonable prices, but book a table for dinner. On weekends there’s live music and it gets full. The spa is a nice way to spend a weekend. The sauna was great, the pool was warm, and the jacuzzi was very warm, like being at home. Visits are limited to 2.5 hours a day, which was enough for us. One day we stayed 20 minutes longer and nobody asked us to leave. Massages were the tricky part: you have to book and work around the massage therapist’s schedule. My husband arranged one in the Carpathians, while I had to fit in with the therapist on site. We were very happy with the vacation and would like to come back with our children for a course of treatment. Thank you for making people comfortable and happy. Wishing you lovely, positive guests.
