Cycad Entebbe Guest House

There’s a peaceful garden, comfortable clean rooms, tasty food and breakfast, and good value at the Cyacad Guest House. Tinah, Samuel, Jefferson, and the rest of the staff made us feel welcome with their hospitality and great service. I’d recommend staying here.

Rachel, the manager, was wonderful. She even looked after our grandson so our son and daughter-in-@law could enjoy breakfast. This was our second stay, and we like how quiet and peaceful it is, just about five minutes from the airport. Breakfast is served family style and was nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with very large beds, and the shower had warm water and a decent flow from an instahot. Good value for the money.

It's a nice, quiet place, with a good restaurant about 500m away. The rooms feel vintage, though they were clean. The sink had very low water pressure, but the shower was fine and had warm water. The ride to the airport is 10 EUR. One thing to watch: the number listed here on Google Maps doesn’t reach reception. Make sure the woman who answers passes the message to the hotel. She didn’t in my case, so the receptionist was surprised about our phone booking.

A lovely spot to stop at the start or end of a trip to the pearl of Africa. The guy at reception was nice.
