Global village Resort

The WiFi is extremely weak and sometimes doesn't work at all. This is a very basic place off the main road, and the last stretch is a dirt track. The facilities badly need repairs, though some work is underway.

Wildlife around the property was a lovely extra. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with all the amenities you need, and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and quick to handle questions or requests. I'll definitely stay here again.

It felt like a home away from home, with a cool breeze most of the time. The staff were the best part, and the location was great too. The rooms have excellent AC, the food was tasty, especially the pizza, and everyone was friendly. Thanks for the great work, everyone at Global. Chester Zoo staff will be back!

We had a good deal on the room because the place was fully booked, though otherwise I think the room price is too high. The wedding itself went smoothly, and the grounds and rooms were clean and nice. Electricity was inadequate, probably because quite a few foreign guests were using their air conditioners. They'd built an ugly wire fence right along the lake edge, so we had to shift our wedding plan to keep it out of the lake photos.
