Breakfast upstairs with a view of the waterfalls is well worth it. I’d also recommend spending a night in one of the huts so you can see the sunrise. It’s a peaceful, quiet place where I felt secure and could relax. Offices for legitimate falls guides are nearby, and you can arrange a guide when you check in. Just ask for help.

The location was quiet, easy to find, and had a great view. We only stopped briefly, but after such a long drive with friends, the food was underwhelming.

Sam, the general manager, and his team were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The views of the highest fall around are really impressive. For Sipi Falls activities, make sure to book with Moses or another guide Sam recommends directly. Avoid guides who approach you on their own, so you can get the most out of your visit.

The view of Sipi Falls is spectacular, but we left disappointed by the service. We were told our meals would be ready in 15 minutes, then waited two hours without getting them and eventually left. We had hungry toddlers with us. It felt like the zungus there were served while local tourists like us were overlooked. Please treat local visitors fairly. We have money to pay for good service and deserve to enjoy it in our own country.
