The bedrooms are warm and the bathrooms are large. The countryside property has a restaurant with 320 degrees of views over the surrounding attractions. From here, the gorilla tracking point of Buhoma in Uganda gorilla park of Bwindi is a 15-minute drive away.

It's a quiet little place near Bwindi National Park, with friendly staff who were happy to help. The wifi was the best we found, though it only worked in the dining area. No crested cranes, but that's the wrong geographic area.

The food was outstanding, with breakfast, lunch and dinner plated and served. Staff were extremely courteous, and the large grounds had lots of open space where crested cranes regularly visited in large numbers. Its superb location made for brilliant sunrise views. Being a little way from the other lodges also kept things extremely quiet. I loved it.

My cottage was wonderfully clean, with a view to die for. The amenities were great, and the staff incredibly helpful. I had a good experience at The Crested Crane Bwindi Hotel and would gladly recommend it to friends.

The peaceful setting made it the best place I could find for my early honeymoon. A trip to the nearby falls made the whole experience romantic. I highly recommend it.
