The mixed grill was cooked just right, all the meats were spot on, and the chips were especially good, crispy outside and fluffy in the middle. The chef Lucas did a great job. Prices were really good value for the food quality and portion sizes. We'd been passing and stopped in for a meal. The service was quick and friendly, and we felt very welcome. So glad we tried it, we'll definitely be back.

Dinner at the pub was a highlight. We had the beer batter fish and chips and the “best ever pub pie”. The pie was mouthwatering, and you could really tell the meat was good quality. David and the other staff looked after us all evening, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our stay at the Starling Cloud was wonderful from beginning to end. Check-in was easy, and the room was clean and spacious with a tremendously comfortable bed. We'd highly recommend this pub and hotel if you're in the area, it felt like a complete package.

The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the 0% prosecco was really nice. It was good value for money, with excellent starter and dessert. The main course was a shame, though, as some parts were overcooked. The pig in blanket was black, with no bacon visible, and the Yorkshire pudding fell apart.

We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast. Even though the place was very busy, we were served quickly, and the food was delicious and cooked really well. We'd stopped in for an evening meal while staying in nearby holiday accommodation. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back for another visit soon.

Our meals have been different each time we've visited, and we've never been disappointed. This time I had the hunters chicken schnitzel and my partner chose sausage and mash. The food was incredible, and service was super fast. Shane served us and was super lovely, as were the other staff. Lovely atmosphere too. One of the nicest places to eat out in Aberystwyth, couldn't recommend it more.
