Parking was plentiful and the price was great. The room was quiet too, even with the noisy pub nearby. It was simple and no-frills, and check-in was easy with friendly staff.

For the price, the room was really well kept, clean and lovely, with everything I needed. The woman behind the bar was lovely too. I didn't get her name, but I hope she had a good night after what seemed like a long day. The window didn't shut completely, though I could adjust the radiator and the traffic outside was only a bit noisy, so it wasn't a problem. Would highly recommend 😊

The shower was hot and clean, but the room faced a busy main road and was noisy. The window needs attention too. It was draughty and let in road noise.

I stayed for 3.5 weeks while waiting for my new property and was properly looked after. There were good deals. OYO castle is in a great location if all you need is a room with a bar downstairs. John the landlord is a great guy.

Would avoid at all costs. The woman who works there, maybe the landlady, was swearing at me for no reason and was rude and abusive. Her friend told me to ignore her. It was so unprofessional, and I've put in a complaint.
