We felt really well cared for here. It’s a small guest house, but the rooms and facilities were lovely, the food was good, and it had everything we needed. A little gem.

Breakfast was freshly made to order with plenty to choose from, and it was great. The room and bed were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There’s paid parking on the road outside, and it’s about a 10-minute walk to Bath centre.

We slept peacefully despite being only a 10-minute walk from the centre. The guest house is cosy, comfortable, clean and welcoming, and the hosts were lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Road parking was expensive, though the council sets the charges, so there wasn’t much the hosts could do. A local 24-hour car park might cost less. Still a five-star stay.

The manager was so friendly, and breakfast was superb. Our twin room was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and a good shower in the en-suite. It was quiet at night, so we slept really well. The converted house is tucked into a residential area about 10-15 minutes on foot from the town centre and train station. There wasn’t much room for clothes or luggage, which was fine for a short visit with overnight bags but could feel cramped with larger cases.

Breakfast was the main reason I picked Brindleys, and it was worth it. My partner loves breakfast, often as her main meal, and especially liked the fruit and eggs. I rarely eat breakfast except when travelling, but the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon delicious, and the fruit remarkably fresh, as good as any we’ve had on our travels around the world. She also loved the traditional, quaint British feel of the dining area. The location is quiet, and everything we wanted in the centre was a 10-15 minute walk at most. For the quality, it felt like very good value. We booked at the last minute for two nights on a spontaneous road trip, and the price, location, breakfast, staff and room all got a 10/10 from me. I prefer small places to big hotels for the more personal feel. The staff welcomed us warmly and took us to a lovely room, upgraded because things were quieter. I appreciated that. The decor was modern enough, the heating was warm, and the clean bedding and towels were high quality. Everything felt just right, and I’d happily stay again.
