The location was PERFECT, and the room felt really homely, with the biggest, comfiest bed. We got a free upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise, and there was a good choice of tea, coffee and sweet treats in the room. My partner and I stayed for a few nights a few weeks ago. I can’t fault the hotel and would definitely recommend it when visiting Bath!

Only an eight-minute walk from the station, this cute hotel is right in the centre of Bath. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed. I’ll come back next time I visit.

The two breakfasts we had were really delicious, the staff were very pleasant, and communication before our stay was very good. We were at the N Parade Passage location, rather than the nearby square location, in a second-floor (1st floor in the UK?) Snug Double. It was clean and a decent size for a “Snug” room, with a clean, efficient bathroom. There was no outlet in the bathroom, though I’m not sure if that’s particular to the UK. The mattress and room temperature were very comfortable. For women who wear makeup, the bedroom lighting was harsh and there was no light over the bathroom sink, so I had to contort myself by the window to use natural light. Our complaint has nothing to do with the hotel’s service, cleanliness, room size or comfort. The underground bar across the passage was extremely loud and disruptive every night of our three-night stay. Once it closed, yelling and cursing youths filled the passage. We were jet lagged, so the lack of sleep was a real problem. After the first night we couldn’t ask to move, since we were out all day for the next two days and couldn’t move our things, so we had to put up with the noise for all three nights. If you value sleep, ask for a quiet room in the other building or away from the passage. The location is very convenient for everything, and we’d probably stay here again, but we’d definitely request the quietest room possible in either building. That’s why we give it five stars despite the noise.

The classic feel of our room was charming, and everything was clean and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the location was perfect. My wife and I had a wonderful stay on our honeymoon visit to Bath. Thanks to the hotel, we came away with a truly memorable trip and look back on it with great joy.
