I’ve just come back from three nights here with my son. I’d read some reviews and felt a bit apprehensive, but the hotel was great. It’s very basic and some rooms are small, though our twin room was a good size. We didn’t hear a thing at night and the beds were so comfy. My only negatives are that the window doesn’t open and the frosting is a pain. I like being able to open a window and see outside. Otherwise it’s great value for money, in a fantastic location. The biggest plus is the staff. We’ve travelled all over the world and they’re the best we’ve had at any hotel. The guy who checked us in was lovely and really helpful, maybe Lewis? I didn’t get his name. Your recruitment process really works, so well done. We’ll definitely be back.

For me, the room was perfect for a short stay: the location and price were right, it was quiet and clean, and the bed was very, very comfy. Staff were really friendly and the shower had great pressure. The place is basic, so don’t expect loads of space or furnishings. One thing to know is that the bathroom is more or less separated by a glass panel, as I could see in the pictures online. I’d be uncomfortable travelling with others because there isn’t really any privacy, though I knew that beforehand. I’d recommend it for short stays.

We stayed two nights and it was absolutely lovely. Great room, good size for two people, and the staff were absolutely lovely too. Everything is close to the city center, just a five-minute walk. I’d read reviews with people saying bad things about it, but that’s not true. A must go here.

For a good price, it works well if all you need is a place to sleep, shower and live out of your suitcase. The location can’t be beat, the room was spotless, the bed genuinely comfortable, and the TV and channels were good. Staff were kind and always available, so I felt safe and secure. There was no disruption or noise overnight. We did have issues, though. It was a freezing cold day and we checked in late, but the heating had been turned off between guests. The room felt like 5 degrees, they couldn’t offer a heater, and it didn’t warm up until gone midnight. The hot drinks machine is at reception and costs £2.50 for a cup to use, but it wasn’t available at 7am the next morning.

We got exactly what we wanted for an affordable price: separate beds, a private bath and toilet, and a location that worked well for us. You pay extra for anything you might need, like luggage storage or a converter, which seems fair at that price. I took a star off because there was only one pillow per person. I’ve stayed in hostels that provided two. 😄
