Tigh Na Leigh

We spent our first night in Alyth and would happily come back. It's a lovely village for walks, and we did part of the Cateran Trail to Blairgowerie, then took the bus back. At Tigh Na Leigh Guest House, the room was spacious and luxurious, with a sitting area and a large ensuite. There are two lovely lounges downstairs with an honesty bar, and the dining room looks over the beautiful garden and fish pond. Guests can wander or sit in the garden. The included breakfast was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the tasty, well-cooked dinner too, though dinner isn't served every night and there are other places to eat in Alyth. The whole interior was tastefully decorated to a high standard, with lots of beautiful artwork. The owners clearly have a flair for design and attend to every detail. We had a wonderful night, everything exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

Graham took time to suggest places to visit along our route, a lovely extra from a host who went above and beyond. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the accommodation is beautifully presented with gorgeous decor. Breakfast was included, just right, and the garden view while eating was something special. Exploring the gardens afterward is a great start to the day. I'd highly recommend staying here as a base for seeing the area. Thanks to Graham and everyone involved for making our stay so fabulous.

We stayed just one night, on 16 November 2025, and wished we could have stayed longer. Karen and Graham were perfect hosts and did everything they could to make it a great stay. The property was stunning, and the beautiful breakfast room had a choice of food cooked to perfection.

Karen and Graham take real pride in what they do. They're friendly, accommodating hosts who make time for a chat. Our overnight stay was very comfortable, with beautifully appointed rooms and garden, and they have a keen eye for design and comfort. Karen prepared both dinner and breakfast excellently. Highly recommended.
