I came back to my room late last night hoping to shower, only to find there was no running water. Downstairs, staff told me to wait for the water to refill. I stayed in my room for about 20 minutes, went back down, and was told to keep waiting. I didn't get to sleep until nearly 1am, and now it's 6am. As I'd already told staff, I had to get up early for a long drive home. I was upset enough to be crying downstairs, but the staff didn't seem sympathetic at all. It's a legal requirement to have running water, so I'm not sure how this is okay. If you're counting on being able to shower during your stay, it might not be available. Horrible place. I wouldn't recommend it.

The beer garden was gorgeous, with a really great vibe, and the whole place was clean and well maintained. We came on a lovely sunny day and had such a nice time. Staff were friendly and efficient, clearing glasses regularly and emptying the ashtrays. The music was 10/10. We're really glad we found it and will definitely come back.

A lovely little single room, clean and modern. I slept really well.

The room was really clean and modern, and since I'd only booked a room, the microwave was a nice thing to have. The shower was easy to use, although the wall mounted shower gel bottle seemed blocked and nothing would come out. Staff were very friendly, and the bar and beer garden looked busy. The location seemed ideal for the town centre. I was running in the Boston marathon and got a bit panicked leaving early, since there were no staff around and I didn't know how to get out or where to leave the key. I was lucky to spot that the beer garden door was slightly open, so someone must have used it to get out before me. I ended up putting the key through the letter box.

The space is really nice, and £60 for four people, with soft drinks and a couple of desserts, felt like good value. We went for Sunday lunch, and it was the best one I've had out in a very long time. Everything was full of flavour, beautifully cooked and served hot, with plenty of proper gravy. Definitely worth a visit.
