There’s ample parking and the location is good for visiting family, so we’ll stay again. Freeport has plenty of other restaurants a short drive away, though I wouldn’t feel safe walking there because of the dual carriageway roads. Our room was clean and had plenty of power sockets, the usual comfortable beds, and tea and coffee making facilities. There’s a hairdryer too, but no lift in the hotel. The continental breakfast selection was minimal, and the breakfast area is small.

The food was better than I expected, and the restaurant was very clean. I’ve never had a room look so spotless, either. The sheets and towels were folded perfectly and smelled impeccable. Everyone was happy and friendly, but Tracey was the standout. She was tremendous and went above and beyond. Thank you.

Breakfast had a good range of tasty options, and the staff there were especially friendly and welcoming. The location was just right for what we needed, and the rooms were good for the price with everything we needed.

Breakfast was excellent, made fresh to order instead of being the usual buffet. Tracey and Julia were really helpful and friendly. This was only our second visit to this Premier Inn, but it’s still in a great location, and the room was up to a good standard as usual. We’ll have to find another reason to visit Braintree (Freeport).

Charlotte kindly sorted us out with a super early check-in. We really enjoyed the stay, and the Premier Plus rooms are very nice and worth the small extra cost. The hotel is close to Braintree Village and lots of places to eat. Downstairs was being renovated, so breakfast wasn’t available, but they had free fruit and packaged pastries. You could book and pay for breakfast at the other Premier Inn across the road. With the village so close, there wasn’t any need for us. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m passing through Essex.
