The Varsity Hotel & Spa

The spa was great, and we had a fabulous stay in a really comfortable room. It’s a modern hotel right in the city centre, with welcoming staff. I hope we get to return. I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially after they posted back the phone charger I’d forgotten the very next day. Faultless service, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at The Varsity. The rooms were spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated, and it’s an easy walk into Cambridge town centre. Valet parking was about 0.5 mile from the hotel. We were assured it was secure and had no problems with it. The cocktails were gorgeous, and Roger was fab, keeping us entertained. The bar wasn’t busy, though, and the service was a little slow. I had to ask several times whether our order had been received. Twice during the night, the heating seemed to kick in with a loud noise that woke us both. Aside from that, a great stay.

We loved the river view from the jacuzzi, and the hotel also has a sauna, steam room, gym and classes. It’s right in central Cambridge, and we had an excellent dinner at the Steakhouse restaurant, with great service from the staff. Just got back from a fantastic stay at the Varsity. I’d highly recommend it for a trip to Cambridge. Thank you! ❤️

Breakfast was good, and the bar makes amazing cocktails. We also had access to the gym and spa, including a jacuzzi and steam room. We stayed in a suite, and it was really big and very comfortable. The bathroom had both a bath and shower, plus everything needed, like body lotion and shampoo. The staff were top notch, polite and made us feel valued. I’d highly recommend this place.
