It's now a Travelodge, though it's still listed as a Ramada Encore, which is confusing. The place is clean and convenient, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic, and it's suited to people after a simple, no-frills stay. The food is very basic too.

The family room we booked turned out to be small, and I had to ask several times to get the extra bed set up. Only one lift was working, and the main car park is tiny. We had to use the overflow lot, which felt just a little too far from the hotel when carrying heavy bags.

The buffet breakfast is good and fairly cheap, and the hotel works well for a one or two night visit to the docks. Rooms are small and basic, but okay, and the stay is fairly inexpensive. I do think the exterior is a bit ugly.

The hotel looks modern, and the staff were friendly and nice. My room was just average, especially the bathroom.

The bedroom felt cold, with laminate flooring, and our TV didn't work. They gave us breakfast for free the next morning as a nice gesture.
