For the price, the room was okay, and it might suit contractors. It was fairly clean and tidy, though the whole place felt tired and in need of a refurb. The toilet, bath and shower, sink, and toilet fittings all seemed due for replacement, along with the furniture. I wouldn't bring my wife here.

I was relieved this was only a one-night stay, on 21 November 2025. My room had no heating, the duvet was paper thin, there were no extra blankets, and there wasn't even a kettle. The staff seemed not to care or make any effort to help. Breakfast was included, but pretty poor. It cost £36 for a single room, which is cheap, but other places are cheap too. I wouldn't stay here again, try a Travelodge.

The reception staff were polite, and the downstairs area was nicely finished. The rooms let the place down badly. Online photos give a misleading impression, and inside the rooms smell and look very dated. The shower swings between scalding and freezing, with barely any pressure. My bed was uncomfortable, the sheets smelled of cigarettes, and there was no socket by the bed for my phone. The TV had very few channels and was basic. You can't get a van into the main car park, so you have to use the back, where vehicles get blocked in. I didn't feel safe leaving tools in the van overnight. Wouldn't bother with this five-star 💩 🕳️, spend a few more pounds on a travel lodge.

I was a bit concerned after booking because some clients had left really bad reviews. But my room was neat, and the water in the washroom was reasonably warm. Keep it up!
