The breakfast alone was a highlight, with hot food, well-done bacon that wasn't fatty, soft eggs, and lovely coffee. The staff were polite and helpful, though they seemed a bit stretched in the morning. They still stayed cheerful and professional with guests. The place was clean, nicely decorated, and had a good bathroom. It’s right in central Bude, close to the beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants, and car parks. Great value too. If we'd known it was this good, we could have saved hundreds.

Tony’s breakfasts really made the stay. Both mornings were a 10/10, and he served everything with a smile. The service was so kind, too.

The location was really good, the price reasonable, and the receptionists pleasant. It’s a standard Premier Inn, basic but comfortable. The downsides were a creaky bed, no mini fridge or USB wall plugs, and noise from people stomping in the room above. The carpet could use a proper hoovering 🤣. There’s no free parking. Cresent Long Stay is about a three-minute walk away and costs £12 for 24 hours, even though they say it’s “free” overnight.

We stayed one night in room 308. The beds were very comfortable, including the pull-out, and the large room and bathroom were both very clean. The hotel is well placed in this beautiful town. Breakfast is worth recommending, with a full self-service choice. Even our fussy teen went back for seconds. Check-in gets busy around 3pm, so closer to 4pm may mean no queue. You can also pay an extra £15 for early check-in.
