The Croft Hotel, BW Signature Collectio

The rooms have loads of character, and the bridal room is especially good for getting-ready photos. I recently photographed Clarice and Gregor's wedding at The Croft Hotel and had an amazing time. The ceremony room felt warm, cosy and lovely for an intimate wedding. The wedding managers were organised, kind and helpful from beginning to end, and the staff kept things running smoothly for everyone. I'd happily recommend the venue and look forward to working there again.

The venue is stunning and we had a great day, which is why we still gave it a high rating. Amy at the front desk of the Croft was a huge help. Without her, the problems in the run-up to the wedding would have left us pretty overwhelmed. We want to thank her for that. There were several things that affected the day. Food went to the wrong guests, including us, and our surname was misspelled on the place cards. The bride's canapés, which we'd been told would be kept aside, were thrown away. The father of the bride was introduced by the wrong name. The bride had to keep leaving the room to look for staff because no one was reliably available to help. Our PowerPoint showed “battery low” warnings and wasn't set to loop. The Mr & Mrs game wasn't announced, and guests weren't told about the personalised word searches we'd arranged. Several guests also commented on how extremely expensive the drinks were. During planning, the wedding coordinator and the rest of the staff seemed out of sync. We kept getting different answers from different people, adding stress and confusion that could have been avoided. Each issue might seem small alone, but together they affected both our day and our experience. For such an important event, we expected better organisation, communication and professionalism. Our guests are still talking about the lovely food and warm atmosphere at our wedding. Victoria and I were married at The Croft Hotel on 2 October 2025, and it was the perfect day for us. The venue is full of charm and character, and the staff handled every detail with care and professionalism, from the ceremony through the reception. They went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. We couldn't recommend The Croft Hotel more as a wedding venue. It was everything we'd hoped for, and more.

We didn't stay because it was too expensive, but we went to a wedding there. The place is absolutely stunning and the food was alright. They kept running out of spirits, though. The bar was really poorly stocked, which I didn't expect, especially since they knew a wedding was taking place.
