The garden feels whimsical, and the setting is magical, surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. Breakfast was delicious and remarkably good value. I loved the strong Fairtrade barista coffee, and the toys in the restaurant and Lola the dog kept the children happily entertained, so we could actually relax over breakfast. Mike and Carrie make you feel like family, and nothing seems too much trouble. They are incredibly warm and accommodating, the kind of hospitality that makes this a home away from home. The manor is still being restored, so not everything on offer may be perfect yet. But it's easy to see how much work, love, and commitment they're putting into this gorgeous building, and that didn't take away from our experience. Thanks for the tour, Mike! Five out of five from us. Thanks, Mike and Carrie, and Lola!

The vegetarian fry-up was delicious and such good value, which we really appreciated. The hosts were wonderful, so welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much hassle. There were lots of thoughtful little touches around the hotel and in the rooms that showed how much they care about guests. Lola was lovely too. We'll definitely come back for more adventures when we're next in Wales. Highly recommend! :)

Inside, the rooms and the rest of the place are beautiful and really spacious. The outside looks a little beaten up, but don't let that put you off. Mike and Carrie were so welcoming, and Lola is a sweet, friendly dog. It's a beautiful building in a stunning location, just a 10-minute drive from the lovely village of Betws-y-Coed. I can't praise it enough and can't wait to return next year. P.S. Mike and Carrie, we hope Lola liked her gift!

The surrounding area is magnificent, and the hosts are wonderful. It's a nice place with good breakfast, though the property could use some upgrading, which they're already working on. It's a bit far from places to get food, but all in all, a nice stay.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms felt homely and clean, with great amenities and lovely views. The breakfast was brilliant too. It's an absolutely beautiful place to stay, and we loved being shown around the old house. We're definitely looking forward to another visit. Thanks again.
