Holiday Inn Express Droitwich

I'm so glad we left after such an awful stay. Parking was a nightmare, and guests should be told it's a shared lot where a space isn't guaranteed. There are only two disabled spots, which is a real problem if you need one. I wasn't actually given an accessible room. It was the smallest room I've stayed in, despite having travelled around this country and others. The layout was no good for someone with a disability: the toilet was tucked behind the door in an alcove, with the roll holder behind you, and there was a big step into the shower. The sink was so close it touched the shower. The metal sounding beds squeaked, dogs barked constantly, and noisy guests were shouting at 3:37am because they needed the key card. My daughter just wanted to leave, so we skipped breakfast. Then I was told I'd get 5,000 points towards another stay to make up for it, when an average stay is 2,000-6,000 points. Never again. Avoid this place if you don't like chaos and bad parking.

Our basketball team stayed here for our cup final, and the staff were fantastic. They set up a scout room for us, made check-in easy, and were helpful at breakfast. The rooms were excellent too, especially for such a good price.

Everything was clean and tidy, and our spotless room smelled like fresh laundry. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived, and everyone was friendly. Breakfast was nicely laid out with plenty to eat.

We only needed a room for one night after our heating broke. It was cosy and comfortable, and the rooms are fine for a short stay. The staff were great, and breakfast was pretty good.
