The food and the servers were the best I've experienced, and everything was spotless. The grounds are gorgeous too. From the moment you arrive, the staff look after you with five-star service. The rooms are roomy and lush, and I loved the fabulous bar, warm and intimate but still professional, with business people, locals and a few tourists around. Even little touches like face-cloths in the bath stood out. There's nothing else like it anywhere. Don't miss it!

They made me and my dog feel completely comfortable. He had a cosy bed, bowls and treats, and the rooms were beautiful. An amazing hotel, with absolutely nothing I could fault. I'll most definitely be back.

The turkey Christmas dinner tasted like a lovely home-cooked meal, even though it was served to a big group. The event room was set up and decorated beautifully, and the entertainment was great fun with the dance floor busy all night. A really good evening celebrating with friends.

The restaurant is often booked and busy, but still feels calm and genteel. The food is outstanding, the service excellent, and the whole place has a very Downton Abbey feel. It's a lovely little gem in a quiet residential part of Dunfermline, about 15 minutes from the city station. I loved the garden and outdoor seating, and I'll be back.
