The restaurant staff looked after our whole family so well. There were nine of us, including my elderly in-laws, who were staying at the nearby Keavil House Hotel and having trouble getting a taxi. The woman working there kindly drove them back herself. The chef also made a pasta and cheese dish that wasn’t on the menu for one of the children. We loved the decor, with lots of artwork, dried flowers on the ceiling, a mix of modern and traditional panelling, and curved booths. It all felt elegant and tastefully done. Our group tried a wide range of dishes, and everyone enjoyed their food. The roasted pepper and tomato soup was really nourishing, and the salmon poke bowl was full of ginger and soy flavour. Service was excellent. A great place to bring the family.

I stayed for one night on Monday and found the room and breakfast a great price. The check-in was easy, the staff welcoming, and the room was spacious with clean, fresh linen. The hotel has modern decor throughout, plus lovely bar and dining areas with quality food choices. Highly recommend this local hotel.

The public areas were better than the room, and the staff were very good. Breakfast was nice, with cooked options, and dinner was fine too. The room was nice enough, but could do with some improvement.

The location suited us well, in a quiet village just outside Dunfermline, with free parking and easy access to town and Edinburgh. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with fresh, tasty food and great service. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and you can tell it’s family run. The Adamson Hotel has clearly been refurbished with care. That comes through in the atmosphere and decor. My room was spotless, modern and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I had a fantastic visit, and the hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d recommend it and look forward to coming back.

We picked the hotel because it was in the right spot for us. The help while booking was great, but that level of care didn't carry through our stay. They knew my partner has a disability, yet put us on the first floor in a room with a shower over the bath, so I had to help her get in and out. We ate there two of our three nights. The food was okay, and service was good the first evening. On the second, the staff were chatting with the receptionist, and I had to go looking for them. Even then, I needed to ask again for help. That was well below what I consider acceptable.
