Boston Manor Hotel

The hotel offered me a free night after my stay, but I was already travelling outside London by then, and I can show that with screenshots. I also have video of the hot water problem. During my stay at Boston Manor Hotel from December 3 to December 6, 2025, there was no hot water in my room for all three days. I told reception several times. They kept saying it would be sorted soon, but it never was, so I couldn't shower at all. When I asked to move rooms, they refused and said the hotel was full. Later, the staff became dismissive and unprofessional, and even told me to contact my bank and dispute the charge if I wasn't happy. Hot water is a basic hotel need, and being charged the full amount despite going without it for three consecutive days is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The restaurant, Epic Spice, was a real highlight. The food was delicious, full of vibrant flavours, and the service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made the stay feel special. Boston Manor Hotel was comfortable, welcoming and beautifully kept, too. It was economical, just like the business card says, "Sleep well for less." I did, and I'd happily recommend both the hotel and Epic Spice.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, parking was good, and the location was great. The restaurant, where breakfast is free, has nice modern decor. My room was cleaner after I raised the stains on the mattress protector, which I thought might be blood, and on the sheets and pillows. Reception changed it straight away. The rooms are small but do the job, though the place is a maze to find your way around, and there's no lift. The electric shower got warm enough but had weak pressure. There was just a bar of soap, no hand wash or shower products, and the TV was tiny. For a one-night stay it did the job, but it's not a great place to spend time in your room. I know it's a budget hotel, but it felt more like a motel. The free breakfast seemed free for a reason, so I'd go to one of the nice cafes nearby instead. I wouldn't stay again, despite the good location.

The bed was really comfortable, but a few things let the stay down for my husband and me. The room was extremely dusty. We'd go out for the day and come back to find a layer of dust on our things, which I can't explain. The shower kept switching from scalding hot to freezing cold without us touching anything. We tried to use the bath instead, but there was no plug. When I asked that evening, a staff member said he'd look for one in the morning. He did find one, which we appreciated, but we couldn't use the bath that night. The hotel is advertised as 17 minutes from Heathrow Airport, but it took about 20 minutes by tram and then another 20 minutes walking, so the whole trip was around 45 minutes. You get what you pay for, but I still expected a working shower, a bath plug, and an honest airport travel time as basics, whatever the price.
