The location was in a good area, but at the price I paid the stay wasn't worth it. The room was filthy, especially underneath the bed, so I'd strongly advise not looking there. We booked for two but were given just one towel, and I had to go all the way downstairs to ask for another. Breakfast was disappointing too, with no hot food at all. The hotel felt significantly overpriced for the cleanliness and service.

Small rooms, but the design is lovely and there are plenty of drawers for your things. It was clean, comfortable and worth the price. The staff were super helpful.

The staff at reception were nice, and there are free hot drinks available all day. The location is good and the rooms are pleasant by UK hotel standards. But the air conditioning was impossible to use properly. I'd set it to 18 Celsius and it kept blowing hot air; pressing shutdown didn't stop it. The bathroom door is see-through, and the windows don't open, so the room literally stinks. They don't clean rooms unless you ask, and even then the cleaning wasn't really done. I asked once and they left towels but didn't make the bed. After six days we were meant to get clean sheets, but they didn't even leave towels. Their records said the room had been done, and I saw that myself. I'm not fussy about accommodation, but at over 200 pounds a night I wasn't signing up for a youth hostel.

The room was clean, comfortable and just right for one person. Breakfast was good, and the staff were attentive and friendly. It's also well placed, close to public transport and an easy walk into the city centre. Thanks for a pleasant stay and good value for money.
