No 32 Hotel

The room was clean and spacious, the bar was well stocked, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a lovely boutique hotel, about a 15-20 minute walk from Edinburgh Old Town. A really nice quiet place to stay just outside the city. Highly recommend.

No32 Hotel is in a quiet spot, yet still within walking distance of the city centre. The rooms were stylish, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with traditional charm alongside modern touches. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. A hidden gem in Edinburgh, and a perfect stay!

It felt like a completely self-service place. I know it was Christmas Day, but someone should still be available to help guests. What if we couldn't get the light off? How are you meant to sleep with it on? We were trying to go to bed and couldn't turn the light off. I called and texted reception, but nobody replied. We eventually managed to switch it off, but the whole hassle bothered me so much that I didn't sleep well that night. The service could be better. 😅

The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and generally around when needed. The guest app or portal could be more useful, with things like breakfast hours and other small details included. Haymarket is a quieter neighborhood, about a 20-30 minute walk to the historic district. The train station is three minutes away, as is a bus stop that goes straight to the airport.
