We had a lovely stay, and our dog was happy in the large enclosed private garden. The cottage sits off a private drive, surrounded by gardens, woodland and wildlife, with local shops, a chip shop, pubs and bus routes just outside the estate gates. Elgin city center, Tescos and a large leisure facility with a pool and sauna are a short walk along the river. Inside, there’s plenty of space, two bathrooms, a large kitchen-diner and a big lounge with a dining table. Two bedrooms plus a third room used as a games room made it a delightful cottage.

There’s lots of parking and an enclosed garden at this lovely cottage, just a short stroll from the town centre. Downstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin, with a bunk-bed room upstairs. I hope I can stay here again.

The private enclosed garden and fast, free WiFi were great. The cottage was warm, well equipped, and had comfortable beds. It felt cosy and like a home from home, in a wonderful spot close to Elgin City center and all amenities. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it.

It’s in a great location, but the decor is a little tired and the WiFi connection is very poor. A spruce-up and an access point in the property, instead of relying on the main house router, would make it a gem.
