We came in for a meal while waiting for the bus, after watching the seals. The atmosphere was lovely, and the brothers and sisters serving us were especially friendly. The soup was so warm and comforting, and all the food was really, really delicious. I highly recommend it!

We booked six rooms for family attending an event in the village. The restaurant food was excellent for both dinner and breakfast, with plenty to choose from. Staff were polite, helpful, and attentive, and it was great value overall. Our room was clean, the shower and bathroom were good, and the in-room facilities included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, biscuits, a hairdryer, and an iron. The family room had a double sofa bed. There’s nothing that warrants a bad review, and some minor issues were already sorted out after we spoke with management.

We hadn’t planned to eat here, just stopped in for drinks after seeing the seals, but the food smelled so good we had to try it. We weren’t disappointed. I had the risotto and my husband ordered the lamb, and both were great. The food was exceptional, and the staff were lovely, helpful, and personable.

After a beach walk, I popped in with my dog. Everyone was really friendly, and the food was good. They even brought Monty 🐕🦺 a couple of sausages in a little dog bowl, which was much appreciated. I’ll be back next time I’m over for a walk. Cheers!

I wasted my money on a really awful sandwich. Mine was unbelievably dry, with chicken in tiny pieces that kept falling out, and one huge, thick slice of onion right in the middle. There was nobody else in the place, so the chef can’t have been too busy to chop an onion. It felt lazy, and I can’t imagine they’d have eaten the sandwich themselves. The server was very polite, which was about the only saving grace, though maybe he should’ve asked if something was wrong when I didn’t eat any of it.
