The scenery by the loch was a 10/10, from misty mountain views through our window to the evening light over the water. My sister and I came up from London via Glasgow for a quick road trip, and staying at Loch Leven Hotel was one of our best decisions. We spent a night there on the way to Inverness and felt at home in its cosy, authentic atmosphere. We loved the wood-panelled bar for a nightcap, and the chef made a delicious special chicken gnocchi for dinner. A peaceful spot with lovely food and a warm feel. We can't wait to visit Anoup and the team again in summer, God willing.

Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, fresh, well prepared, and nicely presented. The hotel was clean, warm, and comfortable, and we had a restful, peaceful break at Loch Leven Hotel in Glencoe. From our room, we looked out over the loch to snow-capped mountain peaks. Waking up to that view felt magical. We'd happily come back for another cosy getaway.

We came for a few days to celebrate a friend's birthday, and the owners and staff paid wonderful attention to detail. Our first-night dinner was phenomenal, from appetizers and mains through desserts and drinks. The rooms were excellent, and the scenery nearby was on another level. There's outstanding hiking in the area, too. Ask the staff what to see around there, they're knowledgeable and glad to help. I rarely write reviews, but this place earned one. I'll definitely return, and next time I'll bring my family.

The birthday touches from the staff made this one-night stay on 1 January 2026 especially lovely. My girlfriend gave me the trip for my birthday, and the team knew about it. They left me a birthday card, then the waitress brought dessert with a candle and sang "Happy Birthday" with my girlfriend. The next morning, staff wished me happy birthday and happy new year again. Such a thoughtful surprise. We stayed in a luxury pod, which was really nice, clean, well set up, and had a comfy bed. The small hotel bar was cosy with a great selection of drinks, and the restaurant meal was very nice. Breakfast was tasty and a good portion. The hotel is clean and in a lovely location. I'd rate it as highly as possible and will definitely return.

The riverside setting is beautiful, and the breakfast view is amazing. We slept well in comfortable beds, and the rooms were decent, but booking an "economy cottage" was a big mistake. The cottages are outside the main building and were far too old and cold for winter. Even with the heaters on, we struggled in the sub-zero temperatures and snow. The bathrooms were tiny, and the online photos were quite misleading. I'd recommend the hotel for the scenery, provided you stay in the main building.
