We stopped here on the way between the Midlands and Inverness. The room was small, but very clean, nicely decorated, and well priced. It had plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Breakfast wasn't included, though the pub seemed to offer good meals from breakfast through the evening. There were other places to eat nearby, and the area was pleasant for a walk. The pub staff were helpful and friendly.

We had a two-night stay as a family of four, two adults and two children. The rooms were clean, comfortable and welcoming, and the location worked perfectly for exploring. We also ate and had drinks in the pub and restaurant, where the staff were excellent and the service was great.

The only drawback was that our window faced the courtyard smoking area, so we hardly got to open it. Even so, it was a great stay for the night. The room was tidy and clean, with an ensuite and everything needed for a cup of tea. The beds were comfortable, and despite it being Friday night, the pub outside wasn't too noisy.

There was quite a bit of noise from the pub's outdoor area downstairs. We had a child with us, but thankfully she sleeps well. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and a good shower is always a bonus in a budget hotel. One window had a broken hinge and couldn't really be opened, but otherwise it was great.

The rooms were immaculate, with spotless everything, very comfortable beds and plenty of room for our things. We didn't hear the other guests, even though I know the rooms were occupied. The pub didn't disturb us at night either, even though it's sort of above and to the side of the rooms. My two teenage girls and I stayed three nights last weekend. It's about a five-minute ride from Cumbernauld train station, in the cutest little village, with food places, a Spar and a pharmacy just doors away. We went down for breakfast and coffee while waiting to head home. I didn't eat, but the girls said their food was lovely. The woman behind the bar was so helpful and smiley, and the owner, Jacqueline, was lovely too. She couldn't have done more for us during the stay. We'll absolutely return next time I'm in Scotland. I wouldn't even look anywhere else now. Thanks again.
