Moxy Glasgow Merchant City

I took my wife away for a weekend of shopping and visiting some pubs, clubs, and restaurants, and this hotel looked ideally located for our plans. It exceeded our expectations. We had a great stay, with comfortable beds, a nicely sized room, and a lovely shower. My only complaint was the limited space for hanging clothes, though there was an ironing room just down the hall. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choice, with self-service pastries, cereals, and cooked food, plus tea, coffee, fruit juices, and even pancakes. There is no hotel parking, but a multistory car park just behind it cost only £6 for 24 hours. We left the car there from Friday until Sunday morning. All in all, we had a great time and will return. Thanks to all the Moxy staff for looking after us.

A great hotel, not far from the city center and an easy 15-minute walk away. The rooms are on the small side, but very well insulated, so they stay comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast is enjoyable, with a good range of sweet options. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The lobby is cozy and attractive, with several games that make it a nice place to relax and have fun. Highly recommended!

The rooms lack even basic things like a hair dryer or refrigerator, and there is no small desk for working. The beds are very poor quality. The towels smell damp and musty, and the room carpets are very dirty. The carpet set off my dust allergy and made it hard to breathe. There is no parking, so you have to use the nearest car park and walk for 10 minutes. I wanted to tell reception about the missing items, but there was not even a phone in the room. In a word: DISGRACEFUL.

The staff gave us a friendly welcome. Our room was clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed. The cooked and continental breakfast buffet had a good selection. The small gym was clean and worked perfectly well. It was good value and ideally located for central Glasgow.
