Radisson Blu Glasgow

The breakfast was the highlight for me. A staff member showed us around the choices when we arrived, which was a thoughtful touch, and I can see why it has won an award. There was a good spread, including the usual Scottish fry-up items. I'm not usually much of a haggis eater, but this was the best I've tried so far. The vegans with us were very pleased with the vegan croissants, and there were plant-based milks by the cereal. I'm not sure whether warm plant milk for coffee could be requested. Breakfast also included a vegetarian fry-up that could be made vegan by leaving out the egg. The rooms were clean and up to date, and I slept really well. The toilet was good, though the half shower screen let water onto the floor, which is just my preference. The design was lovely and the staff were wonderful. It's a great-value place near Glasgow Central station, and I'd happily stay again for work or a holiday. My only regret is that we were there just one night. One of my best UK stays. The room was spacious and had the things I needed, including a decent wardrobe and a nice range of teas and coffee. I slept very well, with hardly any noise from the hall or neighboring rooms. Breakfast was spot on and checkout was easy. I picked the hotel because of an online deal and how close it is to central station, and I'm glad I did. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the service was great. The lobby felt cozy and had lots of places to sit. It was my first stay, but I'll definitely be back.

I had a large bed and slept comfortably, and the bathroom was clean, stocked with towels and fitted with a spacious walk-in shower. My upgraded room was big and had the essentials, including a safe, fridge, coffee machine and iron. Reception was friendly and efficient, and I was given a room on the fifth floor. You'll need your room card to use the lift. The breakfast buffet was generous and good quality, with Scottish choices such as haggis and Lorne sausage. The hotel is very good quality, close to Central Station and easy to reach on foot. I'd gladly stay again.

We celebrated a birthday with the all-you-can-eat Afternoon Tea on Saturday the 14th, our first visit. The place felt lovely and welcoming, and the staff were warm. We were seated in a booth that suited us well, then shown around the selection. There was lots to choose from and it was delicious, with unlimited tea, coffee and water. Cocktails were available too at a reasonable price. We had a fantastic celebration and will be back soon.
