The room and bathroom were lovely, and the bed was really comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room and a breakfast room nearby made the stay easy and comfortable. I chose this place so I could walk to Gosport waterside for the shanty festival and catch the ferry to Portsmouth, and it was perfectly placed. The arrival and parking directions were clear. I'll definitely return to Spring Garden House.

They made me feel so welcome, and I'll definitely book again if I'm back here. I was in town for my first half marathon, and everyone was so kind and helpful. They even let me shower after I'd already checked out. I know that was an exception, but I really appreciated it. I felt bad leaving so quickly after a lovely chat with the lady of the house. Thanks for such a warm stay!

There was a really homely feel here, and Heather was a perfect hostess. My room was immaculate and so clean, and she was accommodating about everything, nothing was too much trouble. Even though breakfast was continental, there was a lot to choose from. I'd definitely recommend this guest house to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

The town has loads of history and beautiful coastline, and I had a lovely time here. The place is in a grand old building beside a converted Victorian railway station. The staff were friendly, informative and lovely, and nothing was too much trouble for me or my little dog. I'd certainly recommend spring garden Lane.

Heather was a superb host, and the price is reasonable. It's a nice room in a really lovely old building from 1840, right by the old Gosport Railway station. About a 15 minute walk to the Gosport Ferry. Highly recommended.
