Upstairs was peaceful even with a lively pub downstairs, and our cosy room had a comfortable mattress, tasteful decor and a spotless en-suite. We were only stopping overnight on the way to the ferry, but really enjoyed the pub, restaurant and hotel. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They welcome dogs too.

While work was being done on our roof, we stayed here at short notice. The team were wonderfully friendly, cheerful and attentive, and went out of their way to meet our needs. The food was superb, the views sublime, and the rooms very comfortable. Cleanliness was first class. Having worked in hotels myself, from housekeeping and waiting tables through to management, I’d call this Hotel exemplary. You’d have to be a real grumpy pants to find fault.

We booked at the last minute and the staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was comfortable, dog friendly and had a view over the bay. Breakfast was good too.

The staff made our stay feel special, with a genuine welcome and attentive service. The food was all excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. We came from the USA for a two week family wedding trip, and staying at Spinnaker Hotel quickly became one of its highlights. Its lovely spot right on the shore also made getting around easy by bus or ferry. I can see why the locals love it, and I’d happily stay again.
