Jill made sure the whole thing felt relaxed and that everything was how we wanted it. Our wedding on February 25th, 2026 was just what we’d hoped for, and the hotel is stunning. There were eight of us staying, and from arrival we were treated like royalty, with upgraded rooms and amazing food. Every member of staff was brilliant, friendly, and good at their job. We can’t thank everyone enough, and we’ll be back!

The wedding meal afterward was really good, and breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly, but the bride and groom were given the wrong information about where the wedding was taking place, which made them late. My room carpet was disgusting, with a huge orange stain beside the bed and smaller marks around the rest of the room. It looked like someone had thrown up there.

The suites we stayed in were gorgeous, and the food was really tasty and reasonably priced. We got married at the blacksmiths shop a couple of weeks ago, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Our wedding planner’s attention to detail was on another level. It was a fabulous weekend and wedding, and we’re so grateful to everyone involved. We’d absolutely recommend the experience and can’t wait to come back.

The wedding ceremony and venue were lovely, and everything ran smoothly. Check-in was quick and clearly explained, and the bar looked great with a nice selection, though it was overpriced. I also noticed an older bartender putting his fingers inside the glasses as he took them from the fridge. Our room was okay, apart from finding a Viagra packet in the cupboard. For the price, the hotel felt average. We were there for a midweek wedding and expected more from a world-renowned wedding venue, though the few days were decent.

The pub felt really relaxing, and the food was very nice. The staff were so friendly, especially Tracey, who looked after us and was very welcoming. We visited this afternoon and will definitely come back with my family.
