The reception team were professional, helpful, and really good. The room itself was quiet, but there was a damp smell in both the room and corridors, with mould visible. The place looked like it needed a proper vacuum. The bed sagged badly, and the toilet dispenser was frustrating to use. Why not just provide regular rolls?

The adjoining pub had good ale and a delicious steak, and the cooked breakfast buffet was great value. The hotel was well placed for visiting the Lizard area and Falmouth. We stayed over Christmas, and found the staff friendly and the room quiet and comfortable.

The place was spotless, and we’d definitely come back. The staff were friendly, and when I needed to switch rooms they went above and beyond to help. I can’t praise them highly enough.

We had plenty of space in my big room, even for inflating my huge 36-inch balloons for video making. Everything was clean and tidy, and Michelle at reception greeted my friends and me so warmly. She was exceptionally professional and helpful. There’s a lovely pub next door with excellent beer and food, where we’ll have breakfast each morning. Great spot in Helston, Cornwall. I totally recommend the hotel and pub. Chris, Madonna and Jonathan.😁😁😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The fixed shut windows made the room feel stuffy, and I’ve never come across that in a hotel before. It felt more like a prison cell, which is bizarre. The TV only went up to volume 15, too quiet for some things. There was rust on the hand wash dispenser. Nice.
