The room was quiet and very comfortable. I got a surprise origami rose and bowtie made from the toilet roll, a really unusual little touch. The service was cheerful and friendly. The receptionist had locked themself out of reception and had to climb over the desk to get back in to check me in. I’m not sure it was the first time they’d had to do that. Breakfast is a bit of an odd one, as other people have said. The bacon seemed to be reconstituted bits, so I left it. I tried a sausage instead, but it wasn’t anything special.

They replied to my enquiry very quickly, though they couldn’t accommodate me this time because of certain specifications. On my previous stay, the room was clean and had good amenities, and the staff were lovely.

The room was warm and well cleaned, with a king-size bed that was really comfortable. The TV had plenty of choices too. I’m glad I found this lovely hotel in a quiet part of Huddersfield near the town centre. I’ll definitely stay again.

I was here for three days while working night shifts, and the staff were considerate about my schedule. The bathroom extractor fan was really noisy, and it keeps running if someone in the next room leaves their bathroom light on. I couldn’t tell what kind of bacon they served. I asked if it was vegan or something because it was horrible and didn’t even look like bacon. They only had beef sausages. The rest was okay, and the car park was very good and secure.

The room had comfortable beds, was very clean and had great lighting, which isn’t always the case elsewhere. Check-in was quick and trouble-free, and it was just what we needed. I’d been a little unsure because it wasn’t a chain, but there was no need to worry. It was a very warm weekend, so a fan in the room would have helped, and the chair was quite worn. Neither would put me off staying again. The hotel is also close to the town centre.
