Holiday Inn Express Inverness

Mr Richard gave us helpful advice about what to expect in Edinburgh. We stayed on two separate nights, and both visits were pleasant. The reception team and support staff were very welcoming, and our rooms were spacious and warm. Breakfast and the free hot drinks were the best part, especially refreshing in the cold winter. Highly recommended, and I might stay here again if I return.

I spent four nights here for work while travelling around Inverness and Aberdeen. The beds were really comfortable, and my room was warm, clean and nice. The car park was well lit and had plenty of spaces, even though the hotel looked quite busy. The staff I met were lovely and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. I also liked being able to pop downstairs at any time of day for a hot drink in the restaurant area. There’s a microwave, snacks and drinks available too, which is a nice touch.

It’s an easy three-minute walk from the hotel to the shopping centre, with a Tesco, Boots and other shops. From there, getting the bus into downtown Inverness is straightforward, which we appreciated as we needed a break from driving. The free parking lot was great, and the included breakfast was nice. We stayed for two nights during our Inverness trip, and the staff were outstanding. I have to mention how awesome they were again. We’ll definitely be back!

Good value for money. The large pantry has unlimited tea and coffee, and they serve beer too. The nearby shopping square is only a four-minute walk away. Inverness town is about a 30-minute walk, which I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
