We'd love to come back after our amazing two-night stay this week. The room was beautiful, and the owners and staff were all so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing.

We stayed in a garden room with our dog, who was very happy there. The grounds were well kept, with an easy path down to the beach, and the food was a very high standard. The hotel was comfortable and everyone was friendly and helpful. Even with the changeable August weather, they had an open fire. The setting is stunning, with fantastic views. I'd give the location a six.

The trout fishing focus and helpful local information made this a lovely place to stay. We were made welcome from arrival right through to leaving. The three-course dinners all week were excellent, with good service and a good wine list. Breakfast was hearty, and there was a fine choice of drams at the bar. The hotel tends to be cashless, which may catch you out if your wallet is full, but you can settle your bill with cash when you leave. I'd definitely return.

After a long day out on the hill, the fires in the lounge and bar were just what we wanted. We had a wonderful six-night stay and went fishing on our second visit to Scourie. The hotel is superb, the food really excellent, and the fishing was excellent too.
