Dinner with Daniel, Emma and Toni was one of the lovely parts of our stay, and Kim and Julie made breakfast a cheerful start to the day. We’re a family of four staying here long term, and every member of the team has been fantastic. They’ve all gone out of their way to make us comfortable, and the customer service has been consistently great.

The chocolate sundae was lovely, and the mixed grill was cooked perfectly, but the portions were disappointing. I paid another £5 for the 8oz steak, which looked about 5-6cms square. I used to struggle to finish a mixed grill, so this was a surprise. The prawn cocktail was small too, about a third of a tub from Asda, and there was sauce on the prawns but none on the salad. I spent around £45 on the meal and a drink. The staff were brilliant, and I can’t blame them for the portion sizes. Reception and bar staff were very good as well. I’ve stayed at a lot of Premier Inns, and this was one of the smallest rooms.

Julie deserves a special mention. She was so friendly and professional, and did everything she could to make our visit enjoyable. The whole stay was brilliant, from the smooth check-in and check-out to the fresh, well-stocked breakfast. Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable night, and the hotel was quiet, well maintained and conveniently located. We’d happily recommend it and will definitely be back. Thanks to Julie and all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

The room was spacious and good value, with very comfortable beds and effective climate control. When we stayed before, Julie was running breakfast in the restaurant. She was friendly and engaging with our two-year-old, which helped settle and entertain her while we ate. On 18/01/26 our daughter was ill, so we couldn’t eat in the restaurant. Daniel Penier was in charge that morning and was extremely professional and helpful, so I could take breakfast back to our room.

Julie was the highlight of the trip. She’s so welcoming and jolly in the restaurant, and breakfast was delicious too. It was a great choice for a business trip. The room was comfortable, especially the bed, and both the shower and Aircon worked well.
